Mwambao attended the ICT4Fisheries conference in Cape Town earlier this month. A fantastic conference organised Abalobi and Blue Ventures.
Great to have an opportunity to learn about the innovative use of technology in fisheries around the world; from biodiversity monitoring, to tracking fishing vessels and linking fishers directly with the market. We hope that we’ll be able to take some of the lessons learnt by others and incorporate technology within our systems to streamline the ability of communities to adaptively manage coastal resources.
